So anyway, yeah, a couple of animators visited our school today. This effects guy who used to work for disney and a character guy who'll be working in the california studios. They had some interesting stuff to show and say, but it got me thinking. This visit has been talked about and looked forward to all year. These guys are idolized. And it seems like everyone who is in the animation department is supposed to want to pick their brains and strive to be like them, like these are THE guys and this is where everyone should want to be, you know. But I started thinking that this wasn't at all where I wanted to be. So I wondered where it was that I wanted to end up, and I realized I didn't know. No idea.
It's kinda scary, actually.

This category thing caught me by surprise; am I the only one? I had been trying to submit art to more categories lately, to meet more people, but after this change some of those categories are gone, others have changed, and it seems like they're burying anime even deeper. I'm not disagreeing with the changes they made, but they do make me a little uncomfortable, especially since I've heard how the admins are so prejudiced against the anime section. Anyway, I've recategorized everything I could into anime; even if most people wouldn't consider it so, I'm influenced enough by anime that I could argue everything I do should fall under that section. Also, if the anime section goes down, I want to go with it; there's nothing for me here without anime.

Okay, there's my rant for the month. I'll let it go now.

Finally, I have time to color! Ya, there's only two new ones now, but I intend to do more soon
Luckily, my urge to draw has taken a brief (hopefully) hiatus, so I have lots of time to work on those old sketches

Also, I joined the naruto fan club, but I can't figure out how to add the icon to anything
If anyone feels sorry for me and my lousy internet skills, maybe they can tell me how to add icons to journals
