this is for
 's tarot card project, "Think of the Children." The full set of cards will be printed either as a book, or, if they can find a printer, as actual cards, and sold online; all proceeds go to a children's charity. Check it out: [link]I was given the King of Swords, woo!! He is 'a man of military authority.' The king of swords is supposed to be a strong, ethical leader with a good sense of justice, someone who can be trusted to make the right decisions and always tell the truth. He has both the qualities of a strong military general and a king. Well, I tried to express those things in an earlier piece, and failed  So I chose a more loose interpretation, started thinking of dictators and Apocalypse Now, and came up with this, which was a million times more fun. He's a king of swords that misused his gifts XPHe wasn't supposed to be YB, but I guess he turned out that way. Hardcore reference used for all the weapons. Feel free to critique! I probably won't change anything but I would like some opinions. One thing I'm especially concerned with is if the content is appropriate for this project... |
